How it began
It started with a game.
It became something more.
After nearly thirteen years in the corporate world and government contracting, I decided it was time for a change. I thought I might finally slow down a little. That did not exactly happen.
I learned to play mahjong and fell for the strategy, the beautiful tiles, and the joy of setting the table. Most of all, I loved watching people talk, laugh, and form friendships with someone they might never have met otherwise.
I knew Lake Country needed a place dedicated to that feeling.

I wanted a place to play, gather, and build community. Somewhere beautifully curated that never feels intimidating.
